Part 1 - The Awakening Retreat

**This 7 day ( 56 hour process) process will qualify all participants as a

pre-requisite for the Kundalini Dance facilitator training

Module 1
Sacred Alchemical Chakra Dance Journeys

Tuesday 1st May - Tuesday 8th May
At Serene Earth Sanctuary Byron Bay, NSW

This stage of the training is a seven - day process. We focus on the experiential study of the mapping and presentation of eight sacred alchemical chakra dance sessions, to be presented by the trainee / initiate as an eight week class series directly after this retreat.

 

We will study the process of presenting a sacred alchemical dance session for each of the eight main chakras.

 

Various relevant topics of study will be covered:

· The keys of transformational alchemy
· Chakra Psychology how energy affects consciousness
· Technologies of Ecstasy
· Facilitating Altered states of Consciousness
· Pranic Breath work
· Mapping alchemical chakra dance classes
· Group Facilitation Skills
· Music Selection, Collection and Technology

 

Each participant will be required to map and present a one-hour sacred alchemical dance session at the Module 1 retreat.

 

Facilitators in training will spend one hour prior to this initial presentation with Leyolah, Luna and Kaitlyn.

 

Kaitlyn will also be available to support individuals with mapping and embodiment of alchemical energy keys. Each participant will receive group feedback at the end of their experiential facilitating session.

 

Trainees will be given a Kundalini Dance Facilitator Training Manual.

Practicum

Participants are required to go out in to the world and teach eight sequential sacred alchemical chakra dance workshops. Each workshop must focus on one chakra per week, over an eight - week period. Classes will be a maximum of one and half hours in length.

 

 

This practicum can be done during or after the online course.
As a trainee, you will be required to set up a dance group in your local community, as a practical experience. Workshops will be taught on a non - profit basis, with adequate communication to participants that you are in training and are not yet a qualified Kundalini Dance facilitator. During this process, you will be required to give direct feedback to your trainers about the experience of your practicum.

 

All trainees will be required to submit a written account of ones personal transformational dance journey.

 

 

 

This is a non residential retreat - although there is camping style accomodation on the property with bathroom and kitchen facilities and a couple of very reasonably priced rooms available for the for the first to claim them.

 

Accom:
Camp Style - $50 per week
Shared Room - $200 per week ( minimal availability) - $200 per week
Sleeing in the Temple Dance Space - $50 per week

There is also alot of accomodation available in Byron Bay ten minutes drive from the venue and we are happy to refer you to beautiful places to stay for the week if you desire more luxurious accomodations.

 

Module 2 – Online 8 week Course

Mastering Chakra Psychology

Mid July - August 2012

 

We will be offering an 8 week online course as part of the KD Facilitator Training. This online course will providing trainees with a deeper knowledge of the chakra's, as a map to understanding the patterns and inner dynamics of human consciousness. This online course will be an experiential transformative experience, including, talk, breath practices and a revision of alchemical maps. The course can be taken before or during ones teaching practicum.

MP3 mixes for sacred alchemical chakra dance journeys
On line community learning forum with reflections questions relating to each chakra, and integration tools that support transforming your false beliefs and co creating your best life from a place of greater truth.

Module 3
September 11th – 18th, 2012

This retreat will be another 7 - day group dance process, where students will train in the more advanced mapping of a sacred alchemical chakra dance class. Trainees will be required to present another one-hour sacred alchemical chakra dance journey. It is required that trainees display an adequate embodiment of the basic sacred alchemical map.

At this training we will explore and embody other tools for the toolbox, extending ones repertoire of exercises and techniques for teaching specific chakra classes and creating group intimacy.

Trainees will be prepared to go and teach an eight-week series with classes 2.5 hours in duration.

 

Trainees can begin to be paid for teaching.

Module 4
(two day training - dates to be announced)

 

After teaching ones first eight - week workshop series as a qualified Kundalini Dance Facilitator, who is eligible to charge participants for classes, you will be required to come to a two-day upgrade training. This will be the final training module required for you to become fully qualified as a Kundalini Dance Facilitator, and receive your level one certificate. The purpose of this training is to further refine ones facilitation skills, and to check in that you are transmitting the work is (delete) in its highest integrity. We will try to host this as an non residential training to keep costs lower.
